We need to know if you will employ any of your BOD officers to work for the organization, and if so, what their approved salaries will be, in those capacities.
MOST newly-formed, tax-exempt organizations do not hire their BOD officers in a paid capacity, but if one out of three officers needs to work in a paid position…for example, if the President needed to work and be paid as the Executive Director, the IRS will usually approve this sort of arrangement.
Keeping this information in mind, please let us know if any of your officers will also work for the organization in a paid capacity, and if so, what their salaries will be in those positions.
